Cold Comfort (Elsie Hargrove Mysteries Book 5)
About
The slopes are treacherous. The guests are worse.
When Elsie Hargrove arrives at an exclusive ski resort for a much-needed winter vacation, she’s surprised to find Detective Jack Goodman already there—undercover as a ski instructor. He’s investigating the resort’s ultra-wealthy clientele, and he didn’t expect company.
When the resort’s owner turns up dead just as a blizzard seals every exit, a getaway becomes a locked-room mystery at ten thousand feet. The guest list reads like a who’s who of people with everything to hide.
Stranded together with no backup and no way to call for help, Elsie and Jack must solve a murder before the snow melts.
Perfect for fans of cozy mysteries with international flair and a dash of feistiness, “Cold Comfort” delivers Claire Blackwood’s signature blend of small-town charm, daring escapades, and the complex chemistry between Elsie and Jack that readers have come to love.
